WaterGuard Interior Drainage System
We installed WaterGuard along the interior perimeter to capture water that seeped through the basement walls or leaked along the floor joints. The water is directed to the sump pump, which then exits away from the home.
Helical Piers with the CleanSpace Wall System
Helical Piers were installed to stabilize and potentially lift the foundation walls permanently. We screw these piers into load-bearing soil or bedrock using mechanical equipment, making it extremely sturdy and long-lasting.
Foundation Wall Cracks
Stair-step cracking in the cinder block wall indicated there was a foundation problem. Moisture from the water intrusion was likely making matters worse since it can weaken structural elements over time.
IceGuard Protection
IceGuard was installed alongside the home and connected to the sump pump discharge to help prevent basement flooding during the winter months in case the discharge pipe freezes and backs up.
Water Intrusion on Cinder Block Wall
During the initial inspection, we immediately found water marks along the walls and floor. This type of water damage can cause moisture that leads to wood rot, mold, and health problems!
TrenchDrain to Capture Water
During heavy rains or melting of snow after snowstorms, water can make its way into the basement. The TrenchDrain captures that surface water, moving it through the upgraded drainage system to the sump pump before ever touching the basement floor.
Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
We added a TripleSafe sump pump with a removable, air-tight lid and a battery-powered pump, available during power outages, to pump water out and away from the foundation. We also placed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to constantly keep moisture out of the air!
