About the Owners

Chris Alford

Chris Alford is a third generation business owner. Growing up in and around Alford Foundation and Crawl Space Repair has provided Chris the opportunity to work in every position in the company. Chris would ride on sales calls with his father during the summers as a youth, which allowed him to hear how his father interacted with customers. As he got older those summers were spent working on homes. Chris worked his way through the ranks of the company from technician to sales to management, and now oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire company.

Becoming a certified pesticide applicator was only the beginning for Chris. He now holds licenses in WV, KY, and OH and is a active board member on the West Virginia Pest Control Operators Association. He is also a General Contractor, Certified Lead Paint Renovator, BPI Building Analyst, BPI Envelope Professional, and has also been recognized for weatherization from a Kanawha Valley Community & Technical College. Chris has worked hard over the last 12 years to continue to add construction services to the company menu.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, his two boys, and his church family.

Larry Janesky

Since 1987, Larry Janesky has been the authority on creating and expanding businesses. He is the proud owner of Alford Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, and has previously founded Basement Systems Inc. and sister companies Connecticut Basement Systems Inc., CleanSpace, and Total Basement Finishing Inc.

He also co-founded Foundation Supportworks Inc. and Dr. Energy Saver Inc. These networks span the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland - connecting more than 400 home repair and improvement contractors.

Larry aims to enhance the lives of business owners, their employees, customers, and, ultimately, the world!
