We can immediately see signs of water intrusion with the white markings on the cinder block. These water lines indicate water had been here, which leads to moisture in the air and can cause a host of problems like mold, mildew odors, wood rot, and structural issues.
Water Entrypoint
One of the entry points for water was the basement door. We needed to improve the drainage system in the basement and crawl space to allow water to flow better to the sump system and out of the home, rather than collecting and causing more problems.

Laying drainage matting allowed water to flow freely to the drainage and the sump system without allowing water to build up and collect in a specific area of the crawl space.

We installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump to collect water from the crawl space and basement, which would be especially important during heavy rainfall, floods, or water incidents like leaks.
