Cracking in the Concrete
The homeowner had light cracking in the porch concrete. To proactively prevent them from getting worse, the Alford team wanted to protect them from water and moisture.
Soil Erosion
Beneath the concrete slab, years of eroding soil left empty gaps and voids. This would have potentially allowed the concrete to settle, sink, and cause tripping hazards.
Joint Sealant
To prevent debris and water from rain and snow from getting into the joints and causing cracking and gaps in the concrete, we sealed them with NexusPro. This UV-resistant sealant doesn't dry, bubble, or crack and can face harsh weather conditions.
Concrete Lift and Level
Beneath the slab, the soil was eroding, leaving gaps for the concrete to settle. We filled that space with PolyLevel injection foam, which lifted the concrete into place, giving it the support it needed within minutes.
Finished Concrete with PolyLevel and NexusPro
When the crew was finished, the concrete looked smooth, level, and added more curb appeal to the property.
