Moldy Basement Wall
You can see just how bad the water and moisture problem was becoming. Mold was growing on the walls and ceilings. This was a health hazard to the family, potentially causing aggravated allergies, asthma, and other health-related issues.
Standing Water in Crawl Space
The crawl space was a source of the mold due to a terrible standing water problem. All of the moisture rising into the air was making its way into the basement and upper levels, contributing to mold growth, odors, and decay.
Water Damage on Foundation
Water intrusion discovered on the foundation wall underneath the porch was causing damage and cracking. Our job was to prevent future water problems and protect the home from further structural damage.
WaterGuard Interior Perimeter Waterproofing
We placed WaterGuard, an effective interior drainage system, around the basement so that it would catch any water before it ever reached the basement. WaterGuard is a powerful step in waterproofing because it's designed to keep mud from clogging up the drain and causing a flood.
Finished WaterGuard by Garage Door
An additional benefit to placing WaterGuard by the garage door and preventing water intrusion to the basement, it may also reduce cracks due to water damage in the concrete.
Basement Mold Removal and Upgraded Paneling
We also demolished the moldy basement walls and replaced them with EverLast panels. These are cement boards with a washable, vinyl finish that prevent mold growth and repel water.
Exterior Drainage Line
All water is directed here. To avoid water standing in the crawl space, basement, or getting anywhere near the foundation, the new drainage system channels water away from the home and out through a neatly placed LandScape Outlet.
