Moldy Concrete Basement Floor
The water problem in this basement had become so severe that mold was growing on the concrete floor. Mold is a health hazard that should be handled carefully by professionals since it can cause health problems like asthma and allergies.
Original Sump Pump System
The original pedestal-style sump pump was no longer effective. An open basin can leave a basement vulnerable to moisture intrusion and amplify issues like mold, mildew, and rot. The concrete basin is also undersized, which limits the pump's capacity to manage water during rainy weather or flooding incidents.
Powerful Sump Pump with Alarm
Our crew replaced the pedestal pump with a new TripleSafe sump pump system. This system has a completely airtight lid to keep out moisture, reduce noise, and allow for easy inspection. It's battery-powered, so it's pumping water even during power outages.
Invisible WaterGuard Around Basement Perimeter
The WaterGuard basement waterproofing system was installed to allow a direct flow of water seepage through a drainage pipe to the sump pump without the risk of clogging. All of this happens before water reaches your basement floor.
CleanSpace Basement Wall Encapsulation
We installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier wall encapsulation to protect the basement from water seepage and moisture. CleanSpace is super durable, 20mil thick, and made of polyethylene plastic. This means it doesn't grow mold.
