Problematic Wet Basement
Upon inspection, we found the basement floor in a very wet state. The problem with a wet basement is that as moisture travels through the air, it can lead to mold, health problems like asthma and allergies, and can even contribute to structural decay over time.
Water Lines Left Behind
We also found pretty significant water lines where water had been. The homeowner made the right call to reach out when they did, before this turned into serious and costly property damage.
New Drainage and Sump System
We installed new drainage using the WaterGuard beneath the floor so that as water seepage makes its way through the walls and floor joints, the WaterGuard would capture it before reaching the basement floor. A new TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to safely remove water from the basement and away from the home.
Waterproofed Wall Paneling
BrightWall basement panels were installed to transform the dark, wet basement walls into a maintenance-free, waterproofed wall that helped direct water to the perimeter drain and to the sump system.
