Water Intrusion Entry Point
One entry point for intruding water was the basement door. Since it led outside, water was coming right inside and sitting without anywhere to go. We needed to redirect that water somewhere else. We installed a TrenchDrain by the basement door.
Concrete Block Water Seepage
Water in a basement leads to moisture. Moisture leads to all sorts of problems, like mold, rot, health problems, and can even contribute to structural damage, as we saw at this home.
Basement Wall Cracks
Upon inspection, the basement wall was in poor condition with significant horizontal cracking and water seepage. It was evident we needed to secure this foundation wall before it shifted any further.
CleanSpace Wall System with Helical Piers
We installed the CleanSpace Wall System to protect the basement from moisture intrusion. The helical piers work to permanently stabilize the home's foundation walls and can sometimes even lift the foundation back into place.
PowerBrace Installation
Our crew installed PowerBrace over CleanSpace to permanently stabilize the walls. These are unique because they can be tightened seasonally, allowing the braces to straighten the walls over time.
SmartJacks Installation
Finally, we installed SmartJacks to better support the floors above the basement. These are perfect for sagging, bouncy floors in the upper levels.
