Water Leaks
Upon inspection, we found several spots around the basement where water was leaking through the ceiling and along the walls. When water and moisture are in a basement, it can lead to mold, that mildew smell, rotting of organic materials like wood and paper, and damage to your belongings.
Improved Interior Drainage
The first step was to install WaterGuard, a sub-floor interior drainage system that moves water seepage to the sump pump location before it reaches the basement floor.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
We placed a new heavy-duty TripleSafe Sump Pump, which offers triple the protection with three pumps. The first one alone can handle 2,600 gallons of water per hour.
Basement to Beautiful Panels
Once completed, the basement was waterproofed and had new Basement to Beautiful Panels added. These panels provide a 2 1/2" thick thermal barrier to insulate the basement walls and are graphite-infused, reducing moisture absorption and mold growth.
IceGuard Flood Protection
We added IceGuard in case the sump lines become frozen during extreme temperatures and the water backs up. Instead of flooding the basement, the IceGuard allows water to escape.
LawnScape Outlet
All water ends here at the LawnScape Outlet. The discharge line is connected to the outlet and is hidden underground, eliminating tripping hazards, and is designed to avoid clogging of leaves, sticks, and other yard debris.
