Block-High Water Lines in Wet Crawl Space
Water lines on the cinder block walls show the water lines where damage to the crawl space has originated. Water in a crawl space is the source of all problems, including mold, musty odors, cold floors and walls, high utility bills, and health impacts.
Mold Growth on Wooden Floor Joists
A significant amount of mold was growing on the wooden floor joists. Wood will be one of the first victims of mold because water and moisture love organic materials. This is a health hazard that needs immediate attention.
SmartPipe Drainage
To collect water from the crawl space walls, we dug a trench and installed a SmartPipe. This is a custom design that accepts water from the soil and surface of the crawl space and drains it to the sump pump location.
Exterior Discharge Line Installation
We installed an exterior discharge line that will carry water from the sump pump away from the home. This prevents damage to the crawl space, but also the home and the foundation.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
This specially engineered sump pump includes an airtight lid, keeping water from evaporating in the crawl space or clogging the pump. It also has a pump alarm that lets you know if the pump fails.
Powerful SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
This high-performance dehumidifier prevents moldy and musty odors and removes 2.9 liters per kilowatt hour. This capability will make their home healthier and drier year-round.
IceGuard System
To protect the crawl space from flooding during the winter due to freezing lines, we added the IceGuard System. This is a fitting that ejects water from the exterior wall if the pipe freezes.
LawnScape Outlet
The discharge lines end here at the LawnScape Outlet. It prevents the line from getting clogged with leaves, sticks, other debris, and even pests!
