Upon inspection, this dirty, wet crawl space was in rough condition and in need of repair. Excessive moisture would eventually lead to decay and potential structural problems if not handled promptly!
Water Intrusion Discovered
The homeowner found recurring standing water underneath the mobile home. Water of any kind in a crawl space can lead to mold growth, wood rot, and health issues like allergies and asthma. We wanted to find the perfect solution so they didn't have to deal with these problems.
Drainage Matting
We laid drainage matting beneath the vapor barrier so water could flow freely to drainage and away from the foundation! This would protect the home structurally in the long term!
Competed Encapsulation and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
We installed CleanSpace, a durable antimicrobial vapor barrier that would protect the crawl space from moisture. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier allowed clean, dry air to circulate through the space and home.
